Welcome Messages

On behalf of the Anglo-American School of Moscow school community, it is my pleasure to welcome athletes, coaches, students, staff, parents, and visitors for the CEESA Cross Country Meet. A great deal of hard work has come before this event and we congratulate all athletes on their dedication that has prepared them well to represent themselves and their teams. Thank you also to the coaches and parents for their time and support of our student athletes as well as to AAS families for hosting and offering your hospitality to our CEESA athletes. We also appreciate the effort of the event organizers as well as all who will support this event at AAS.
Hosting a sporting event brings school communities together and provides opportunities for athletes, coaches, and families to build lasting friendships. We encourage all athletes to fully engage and embrace this opportunity, giving your best and making memories to carry with you.
All the best for an outstanding experience!
Rhonda Norris - Director

Welcome to the MS/HS CEESA Cross Country Meet for 2018. On behalf of all the Anglo-American School of Moscow, I would like to extend the warmest of welcomes to all players, coaches, parents and volunteers. We are excited to welcome our old friends from Prague, St. Petersburg and Warsaw as well as new friends from Minsk, Bratislava and the American School of Doha. The event would never be possible without the time donated by coaches, athletics staff, volunteers, supportive parents and of course, the talented athletes. We hope that your time in Moscow and at AAS is fun, successful and memorable. We are thrilled that you can join us!
Noah Bohnen - Middle School Principal
Welcome to Moscow and the 2018 CEESA Cross Country Meet. We are very excited to host this event for the first time in school history, and thank you for your participation. It will be a busy couple of days but we are anticipating a wonderful display of running and athleticism from each and every one of you. We look forward to a lot of sportsmanship and cooperation being demonstrated on and off of the course. We hope that you will act as ambassadors for your sport, and for the schools you represent. We encourage you to run hard but also to enjoy the opportunity at AAS and to make new friends. Best of luck!
