The Anglo-American School of Moscow
Welcome Messages

A warm welcome to students, staff, parents and visitors to the Anglo-American School of Moscow for this CEESA basketball tournament.  Also a special greeting to any former students or staff who are returning to us with a new school.  My thanks go to all who are taking part, to coaches for their hard work in preparation and their dedication to both the sport and the students, and to the organisers of the event. Thank you to parents for your support and to all hosting families for sharing your homes and for your hospitality.

Hosting a tournament really brings school communities together.  There is a buzz in the corridors and a sense of excitement.  You all play your own part in the sense of pageantry, you bring a fresh perspective and enthusiasm.  I hope that you all enjoy an excellent event and leave feeling that you have given your best to your team and achieved personally, and enjoyed participating.  Please take our best wishes back to your schools!

Ian Forster - Director

Welcome to the MS CEESA Basketball tournament for 2018. On behalf of all the Anglo-American School of Moscow, I would like to extend the warmest of welcomes to all players, coaches, parents and volunteers. We are excited to welcome our old friends from Budapest, Kyiv and Warsaw as well as new friends from Belgrade and the Moscow Sports Skills Development Academy. The event would never be possible without the time donated by coaches, athletics staff, volunteers, supportive parents and of course, the talented athletes. We hope that your time in Moscow and at AAS is fun, successful and memorable. We are thrilled that you can join us. Let’s play some hoops!
